1994 – CLC WAS FOUNDED
CLC was founded in 1994 at the historic International Harvester building in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a painter for automotive and heavy truck exteriors.
2005 – CLC MOVES TO KENDALLVILLE, IN
CLC Moves to Kendallville, Indiana with the acquisition of Plant 1. With over 300,000 square feet Plant 1 becomes the new home for Painting & Assembly, and today remains as the current headquarters.
2008 – INJECTION MOLDING BEGINS
CLC broadens its core competencies, becoming one of the few industry suppliers that has the ability to deliver both Injection Molding along with Painting & Finishing.
2010 – PLANT 2 IS ESTABLISHED IN KENDALLVILLE, IN
Continued growth leads to the need for a larger foot print. Plant 1 becomes the home of all Paint & Assembly while Plant 2 is dedicated to Injection Molding.
2013 – PLANT 3 IS ESTABLISHED
Injection Molding services continue to grow. Plant 3 becomes the home of Small Tonnage Injection Molding and Plant 2 is dedicated to Large Tonnage Injection Molding.
2018 – $5 MILLION CAPITAL INVESTMENT
CLC expands their Injection Molding Capabilities with an aggressive $5 Million Capital Investment focused on new large tonnage injection molding machines.
2021 – CLC ACQUIRES MVC
Creative Liquid Coatings, acquires the assets of McKechnie Vehicle Components adding Chrome Plating to it’s Injection Molding and Painting Capabilities.
2022 – CLC ACQUIRES CK TECH
On June 3rd, Creative Liquid Coatings, acquired the major assets of CK Technologies including plants located in Montpelier, OH, Mount Airy, NC, Grand Prairie, TX, and Brownsville, TX. This Transaction will expand CLC’S current customer relationships and provide greater reach into the southern United States and Mexico.
